Consumer Advocate Responsible for helping consumers who contact the Client Assistance Program. Posses a working knowledge of the policies and procedures pertinent to rehabilitation programs delivered by VESID, CBVH and CIL’s. Proven mediation, negotiation, conflict resolution and public speaking skills. Ability to provide own transportation and willingness to travel. Knowledge of comfort with and commitment to Independent Living Movement Philosophy. Personal or professional experience with disabilities preferred.
